Merry Christmas

Another sucessful Christmas. Allison is still sick so we were up ALL night with her. Then I went to lay down with Zoe and she was up super early because she was excited. The second that clock struck 7 she sprung out of bed and they were both downstairs. The insanity then followed. I now have sore fingers from so many twisty ties.

The Polar Express

We went on a ride to the North Pole with one of my good friends. the girls had a blast. The got to see Santa and tell him what they wanted. We were served some hot chocolate and cookies. it was fun. Just a couple more weeks till Christmas.

Man it is chilly out. We had a slightly lazy weekend. Not much to report. I finally got the playroom cleaned up. I chalkboard painted 1 whole wall and painted the others a blue color. We are taking it and making a little girls hang out. Should be fun.

Blah

Today I am so sick. I hate missing work but that are days when you can't help it. The girls had a good weekend. They went to All Pro Dads with Devon, but left early because it was not their thing.

Daylight Saving time...

Very quiet weekend for us tonight. Zoe decided today to make a tattoo parlor at home, it was pretty cute. She even had a tip jar. Allison made up a quick hair salon to compete with business. It is amazing what these 2 can do with a cardboard box.

Election day...

I am not very political at all, however I cannot stand the way alot of citizens act during election. The commercials disgust me, peoples true colors come out, and people are just plain nasty. There are 2 things you do not discuss with friends and coworkers and that is religion and politics. I guess some people feel their opinions matter a hell of alot more than mine. Not only that but they just continue to run their mouths. UGH!!!

November

Well last night was Halloween and we survived. The girls had a blast trick or treating with their daddy. I stayed home to hand out candy. It is now November and we started with the girls Fall program. They did fantastic.

We had a big party last night for our friends and the girls friends. It went fantastic everyone had so much fun.

Almost Halloween

Happy early Halloween. Today we got in the spirit by dressing up for work. I am wearing something else for actual Halloween but this was my work friendly outfit. Tomorrow we are having a party for the girls friends and our friends. Should be fun.

School...

Still updating...

The girls are now in second grade which is actually a 2/3 class. It is filled with half 2nd grade and half 3rd grade. It was really difficult for them at first, but they have really adjusted well. They are doing great on their homework but have to explain half the stuff to me.

I also did the craziness in volunteering to not only be the Girl Scout leader for 13 girls, but also the PTSG Secretary.

We finally had good professional pictures taken. It was pouring all day, but stopped long enough for us to get our photos. The girls were great and were little hams. I think we should

do this every year.

Disney

This year we mixed up our Disney trip. Instead of staying at Disney the entire time, or taking a cruise we did 3 days at Disney and 5 at Disneys Vero Beach. Now did you think that we could actually pry ourselves away from anything Disney??

We had so much fun though, Vero Beach is amazing and I vow to one day live there. I realized that Allison and Zoe were meant to just hang on the beach all day everyday.

Nothing is better than the 4 of us getting away from everything and just relaxing. NExt year we are doing a bit of Disney and a cruise on the new ship!!!

Busy year

Well my comittment to blogging has diminished but I will try to get back in the swing of things. Lets see what has happened. Lets start with the beginning of the year...

The girls turned 7 years old at their Magical Tea Party. They had a blast with all their friends and a magician even showed up.

We had plenty of snow. We also had lots of fun.
